Internationalization

How to conquer new horizons

In Module “Internationalization”, students are given the opportunity to look beyond the European sports business and gain insights how the global sports business market operates. Besides a comparison of national and international sporting disciplines, the focus of this module is on international growth and overcoming barriers to market entry. The participants exchange perspectives with representatives from international sports clubs as well as associations and discuss best practices for the realisation of internationalisation projects.

Sample questions:

  • Which role do sports engage in the cultural understanding of foreign countries?
  • How do international sport business markets operate?
  • What barriers and opportunities await European companies looking to enter international sports markets?
