The part-time MBA in detail:

  • Awarding of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, one of the most renowned business schools in Europe
  • Strong emphasis on topics relating to the sports business industry; development of relevant networks through incorporation of the General Management Program in Sports Business into the curriculum
  • Extra-occupational international general management degree programme with a focus on topics of relevance to the sports business industry
  • Geared towards future executives and “High Potentials” from a variety of industries and professions
  • Mediation of general management experience, international foresight, creativity and ethical values
  • Strong emphasis on personality development and the fostering of management skills
  • International orientation to learning content
  • Discussion of practical issues in small teams
  • Extra-occupational course with attendance sessions during the week and at the weekend
  • Course duration: 18 months with approx. 170 days (incl. 102 attendance days)

Admission requirements for the part-time MBA

The selection of participants with outstanding qualifications ensures the highest possible quality of MBA students. The WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management has defined criteria for admission to this end.

Please feel free to send us your curriculum vitae and a copy of your university degree (certificate and transcript of records), and we will review your formal admission requirements based on these.

Should you meet the requirements, you will be invited to the two mandatory interviews in Düsseldorf. 

A few days after the interview, you will receive written notification advising whether we are able to admit you to the programme and the university to offer you a study place on the WHU Part-Time MBA Sports Business Track. You will then have the opportunity to submit your full application.
